Best way to roll over in bed during pregnancy


Rolling over in bed during pregnancy gets harder as your belly is growing. That is normal. But if you have low back or pelvic pain it can be rather painful.

I will show you the best way to roll over in bed. My patients say that is a lot easier and a lot less painful this way. You can also have a look at the film at the bottom of the page.

Try it out!


Example for if you want to roll over to your left side.

  1. Bent your right leg.

2. Give a soft push with your right leg.

3. Move the right shoulder and arm at the same time. This way you roll over your left leg. 

4. If you want you can bent the bottom (left) leg as well.
